ADC Adscope 612 Lightweight Clinician Stethoscope, AFD Tunable Technology

I've owned heavy cardiology scopes, Littman scopes, etc throughout the years. I received it a a couple of weeks ago and I am enjoying having it on the floor. It's so light I forget it's on my cargo pocket. Even when it's hanging around my neck it's not cumbersome. Definitely got my money's worth on this buy and would recommend it to you. You get crisp sound no matter what your looking for in a patient assessment. The scope is long and this attribute allows you to poke around without hanging over the patient. You will like this scope if you give it a try.

I did a lot of research on different types/styles of stethoscopes before I purchased this one. I am mostly deaf in my right ear and have found only one company prior to this, that worked. They are no longer making them and someone told me about these, so I figured that I would give it a try. I am very glad that I did! This thing is very light weight, so no sore neck at the end of a long shift. The sound quality is amazing. I can hear all sounds crystal clear and the price is fabulous, compared to many others out there. This has become my favourite stethoscope to date...and I have used many.

I bought this same stethoscope when I was in nursing school 2 years ago. i bought it based on the positive reviews and the low cost compared to the litman scopes. The ADC far exceeded my expectations. I could hear very clearly. Recently I purchased a new ADC scope because I couldn't find mine at work. I purchased it again and I am still impressed! I definitely would purchase again and recommend it!!!!!! UPDATE 2017: I use this scope for assessments, I'm a nurse. I don't use it that often because I work PRN. I carry this scope in my book bag. The diagram has come apart. I'm disappointed. I had a scope from ADC through nursing school & never has issues.

I have been a nurse for 6-7 years. I have had a Littmann previously. It was time to get a new stethoscope. I chose this one after I ordered a Littmann that was supposed to be exactly the same as I previously had. But it never did work as good. So instead of spending money on another Littmann, I bought this brand and have been happy with it. It works well, audibility is good, ears are comfortable. It comes with two different kinds of ear fittings. (or 3) and a name tag. AND it is 1/2 the price! That is awesome.

I have owned several different brands of stethoscopes through the years, including Littman. This stethoscope is as good as a lower end LIttman (like the Classic II), but at a much better price. They have a great selection of colors if you want to get a color that no one else has. I recommend this for a general use stethoscope. If you want one for precise cardiac assessments, then I would recommend a more expensive one like the LIttman Cardiology stethoscope.

I can hear! I honestly thought I was deaf due to my old stethoscope, while 30 years in EMS. I’m so excited about my new tool….

Audio quality fair, difficult to hear through, but worked in a pinch for training.

I am a family physician of 20+ years experience. I bought this as a back-up to my Littmann Cardiology scope, which I frequently misplace. Just like many ADC scopes I have used over the years. this one transmits heart, lung or other sounds very well. It is light (the high-end ones are heavy). It is longer than I thought (I prefer short tubes). That's a minor complaint. Again, another ADC products that satisfy me just fine.

We are not able to hear anything

The price of a littman has doubled in the decade or so since I last needed to buy one. This makes a great alternative. The cabling is longer and softer and copes better with being left in my car, and is more comfortable when left hanging around my neck
