It is indeed skin calming. It seems to be suitable for the whole body, even the face. Very little is needed for the face. It's really helping the dry skin on my lower legs, and it's great for the hands as well. I'm 80, so my skin is wrinkled pretty much all over, but this is really helping. Yes, it is fragrance-free. I would not mind a mild scent, but this is good for those who don't want scented products. The 8-oz. tubes are really large, so it's quite a bargain. For travel, you could squeeze some into a smaller container.

It is super body cream for extremely dry skin! I have used it for years and surpasses anything other product I have tried.

I once received a "blue cap" tube of Eucerin Skin Calming Daily Moisturizing Creme in a gift pack. It worked wonders after so many other products which couldn't defeat my dry skin. After I used up the "blue cap" Eucerin creme, I sought replacement with a like-for-like product but alas, the "red cap" version had replaced that item. Despite the gripes written extensively in these reviews, I think the "red cap" version is equal to that of the "blue cap". The ingredient list is exactly the same for both (by and large), but the "red cap" version adds a few more components that comprise the reformulation. To the point: I get enduring moisturizing that controls my dry skin, and it doesn't trigger allergic reactions like some others do to my overly sensitive skin. I regard this product highly. I rate it 5 stars.

This product is the only one I use. My doctor recommended it many years ago. Usually purchase larger pump unit but needed a smaller tube for travel.

I started using this while dealing with dermatitis and eczema symptoms that I had struggled with for over 5 years. My skin was extremely dry and itchy, and over the years I tried more creams than I could count, including natural products and much more expensive options. I wish I had started using it sooner. This was one of the few creams I found that didn't burn or irritate my skin when I applied it. With consistent use, it helped my skin retain moisture, stop flaking so much, and finally feel like it had a proper protective barrier again. At my worst, I was applying it several times a day because my skin would absorb it so well without feeling overly greasy. I've reordered these tubes more times than I can count. At one point I kept them at home, at the office, and even in my vehicle because I used it so frequently. I also appreciate that this comes in a bulk 3 pack, which makes it more economical, especially if you're using it regularly like I was. Tube sizes are reasonable in my opinion. Now that my skin is doing much better, I don't need nearly as much. I usually just apply a little after showering or if I notice a dry patch starting to form. After trying so many different products over the years, this is one of the few I've repurchased.

I keep a bottle of this in the kitchen and one one the bedside table. Nice product and I'd give it 5 stars except I'm trying to move away from products with so many chemicals in them and I'm going to start making my own hand cream.

This skin calming cream helps to relieve itch and moisturizes my dry skin without causing any irritation. Many creams burn when you put them on but not the Eucerin Skin Calming Cream.

If you have any skin condition that causes itching then this is the cream for you. It is great for lymphedema. I would emphatically recommend this cream.
