Quality part
Nice thick composite construction, fits Jeep XJ 4.0 power steering pump. If you're replacing the pump (most don't come with a pulley) do yourself a favor and buy a new pulley then rent an installer kit at a parts store.

Zero issues....
I had no problems with this pulley. Mounted on a brand new A-Premium Power Steering Pump for a 2004 Grand Cherokee, 4.7-N. I used a 3/8-16 bolt with a nut, a socket, and a couple of washer to press the pulley on the PS shaft. It is a TIGHT press. Was a bit concerned of the hub cracking, as I have read some complaints of such, but it held together fine. Tech-tip - if replacing a Jeep WJ PS pump, and you have the hydraulic fan, be sure and compare the high pressure orifice on your new pump to the old pump. Most new pumps have too small an orifice and you will starve the system and burn your new pump in a matter of months. In lieu of swapping them on mine, I just removed the new one and drilled it out to match the factory size. If you remove to swap or drill, be careful removing - there is a spring behind the orifice that is DYING to fly around your shop! You will also have to remove to reservoir to get the orifice out, or at least it is a lot easier to remove with the reservoir out of the way....

Good pulley, reasonable price
From the picture it looks like this pulley is made completely out of composite material, but that's not what I received. The center portion is made out of metal, pressed or molded into the plastic, with kind of like saw teeth around the outside - ostensibly to improve the grip with the plastic. And I like it that way much better than an all plastic pulley. These things require a lot of force to press on and I think the metal is probably a better material for that reason. The pulley had the correct number of grooves and was the exact diameter of the OEM pulley on my 2000 Jeep XJ. It tracks straight and doesn't wobble. But make sure you buy or rent the proper removal/installation tool 'cause without it you run the risk of damaging the bearings, gouging the bore, or generally boogering things up. ;-)

It is a pulley. It does its pulley thing.
Ease of install? Well it is a easy as any pressed on power steering pulley. Having the right tool makes it easy. Don't attempt unless you have the correct tool. As for the part itself, it does its spinny thing and turns the pump so it does its job.

was a little bit of a pain to put on the pump but its fine. Yes it’s plastic but the previous was plastic ...
(2000 Jeep Cherokee sport) Had this installed about five days ago, was a little bit of a pain to put on the pump but its fine. Yes it’s plastic but the previous was plastic too. Didn’t break on me and works as planned. Four stars for now, see how long it will last. Will update if it breaks or something. Tx

Perfect fit for 2006 Jeep TJ Rubicon
Nice part. Easy install. Tip: Press on prior to installing the new power steering pump. It is so much easier this way. Once it is tight, STOP pressing or it can crack. In other words, don't crush it, it just needs to be tight. It won't go anywhere.

Works as it should, Ive never installed one and it went decently smooth, it takes a crazy amount of force to go on the pump so make sure to put the pump in a vice and get a nice tool set for the job.
