Was not made correctly for a 2000 W163- ML430
After an hour of trying to make it work I found that the splines were clocked incorrectly. I ended up trimming off the last spline with an exacto knife and rotating it one spline. Then I installed a small screw to hold the lever in place. Works perfectly now but had I known before I ordered the repair parts I would have ordered the complete assembly and had one less headache.
