Wahl Professional Animal Blade Oil for Pet Clipper and Trimmer Blades (3310-230)

This hair clipper blade oil works very well on my Wahl electric clippers. I've also used this as machine oil on my bicycle derailleur moving hinge parts.

Oil works as it should but my bottle leaks if knocked over. Keep clippers cool even when clipping my Wooly mammoth pony!

Got a good size of oil for Wahl hair trimmer. It is good quality and lubricates well. Once lubricating, it lasts in the trimmer a long time and improve the performance.

Didn't see it was for animals haha! It works just as well on humans! Turns your machine back to graceful humming instead of loud, scary, un-lubricated blades. Super high quality as well, I've had to put oil a less amount of times, which saves a ton of money; plus I'll never run out, this thing is huge for how much you'll be using it! Like other reviews, don't take off the seal all the way! Use a standard pen to pierce it right in the middle to get a small hole. It'll limit how much oil comes out when you squeeze the bottle, and doing this makes the process of putting oil on your machine much more user friendly.

I was using another oil for my hair clippers and then I found this on Amazon. Great deal for a big bottle!! You can use this on not only your clippers, but any machinery or product that has a high friction point (clippers, gearing etc..) I have also found that it works great on bearings as well!! My nieces and nephews have all these fidget spinners and this oil keeps the bearing spinning super fast!!

This is silicon oil. Wahl hair clipper needs oil for smooth performance and for blade longevity. You can use other thin oil like coconut oil or olive oil. But problem with vegetable oils is they will get rancid over time and will promote bacterial and fungal growth. Silicon oil on the other hand has no carbon moiety so it prevents bacterial and fungal growth. I am also using this for Philips aqua shave beard shaver. In case of Hair clipper, excess oil can't be cleaned with water. Just brush off adhered hairs and wipe with a cotton cloth. Philips aqua shave can be cleaned with tap water. But shake off water well before storing.
