Is this bench made of pine or a hard wood?

The bench is made of pine. Some hidden parts of the drawers seem to be made of MDF.

how thick is the top?

Sorry I can't remember. The item was broken when we received it and we didn't get another one. We've had issues with Amazon on large items. Several have been broken.

measure you post is confusing
