Need Torx E18 socket and note orientation prior to removing crankshaft pulley.
Fix the squeaking noise on the front of the1.4L engine in our 2016 Cruze Limited with the replacement of the front seal. This seal fits slightly tighter than the OEM part, which is what the problem requires. Looks like what caused the problem is the seal backs partly into the engine cockeyed causing the seal to make that squeezing noise. The engine is nice and quiet now. You will need a E18 Torx socket to remove and install the crankshaft pulley bolt and note the orientation of the pulley prior to remove to place it back correctly.
