desertcart.com: Always and Forever, Lara Jean (To All the Boys I've Loved Before): 9781481430494: Han, Jenny: Books Review: 5 bittersweet stars - In ‘Always and Forever, Lara Jean’ we follow the gang as they embark on new chapters in their lives - Dr. Covey’s decision to remarry and Lara Jean and Peter’s decisions on colleges. The latter caused quite the stir, because everyone including myself were wondering if Lara Jean would follow her sister Margot’s example and her late mother’s advice by breaking things off with Peter before heading off to college. Other than this important decision, there’s a lot that transpired in this book. There were lots of fun times, especially with regard to the senior year festivities and Dr. Covey’s wedding, but there were also a few bumps along the road and a very tragic incident that took place. Although a very sad incident, I admired and felt an abundance of warmth by the manner in which Lara Jean dealt with this matter. Above all, these characters have permanently woven their way into my heart and I enjoyed seeing their growth throughout this entire journey immensely. This series has been an absolute pleasure to read and I’ll miss every single character something fierce - from Peter and Lara Jean’s heartfelt and swoon-worthy romance, to Kitty’s smart mouth and witty comebacks, to Chris’ blasé and free-spirit attitude, to Stormi’s lust for life. Overall, ‘Always and Forever, Lara Jean’ is the perfect conclusion and ending to this amazingly written story and its infectious characters. After reading this book, I’m filled with such happiness, warmth and wistfulness. This series will forever be a favorite of mine and a series that I turn to when I’m in need of a pick-me-upper or a book that’s the epitome of young, innocent and all-consuming love. It’s so stinking cute that you can’t help but to be filled with an abundance of warmth, love, joy and nostalgia. Review: The most heartfelt novel in the series! - I am floating on Cloud Nine after reading Always and Forever, Lara Jean. Jenny Han surprised her fans with the most heartfelt novel in the series! Always and Forever, Lara Jean sparkles with its pop culture references, Lara Jean's pursuit for the perfect chocolate chip recipe, Peter's charm and of course the sisterly bonding between the Song sisters. The novel dives in around Easter time during Lara Jean's senior year of high school. Everyone is waiting to hear back from college and Lara Jean is super nervous to see where she gets accepted to. Readers are reunited with returning characters and are introduced to some new faces. Always and Forever, Lara Jean is a roller coaster full of emotions with a forthcoming wedding, a death of a loved one and senior year with its ongoing anticipation of going off to college. Always and Forever, Lara Jean shows realistic display of anticipation for the college waiting game. The excitement and the upset are both on point and the ups and the downs of relationships are true. But in the end, everything is worth it. Although people may have certain thoughts about Lara Jean's and Peter's relationship, it is ultimately Lara Jean's and Peter's decision that matters. Through best of times and the worst of times, they stayed strong. Both write their own story as they mature from book 1 to book 3. Although, I always rooted for a Lara Jean and John Ambrose McClaren shipping, Miss Han's ending of the novel brings the series full circle because, after all, it all started with a love letter. The message in Lara Jean's yearbook from Peter is perfection! I don't want to spoil it but you MUST pick up this book if you've read the first two books in the series. For those who haven't read To All the Boys I've Loved Before, add it to your TBR list. In fact, marathon To All the Boys I've Loved Before, P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever, Lara Jean!

Sweet ending to Lara Jean's story
When I found out Jenny Han was continuing Lara Jean’s story, and making the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before duology, a trilogy, I was so excited! From the moment I put down P.S. I Still Love You (#2 in the series), I was very eager for more of Lara Jean’s story, and wasn’t too disappointed in this third and final installment. This surprise follow-up to Lara Jean’s story follows her through her busy senior year. She’s preparing for college, head over heels in love with her boyfriend Peter, her dad is getting married, and her sister Margot is coming home for the summer. She has made a plan, and is ready for the next chapter. But when her plans get a major wrench thrown in them, she has to decide what to do, and where to go next. I really enjoyed this last book. We got plenty of Kitty, Margot, and lovable Lara Jean. I just wish there had been more of Peter and Lara Jean together. I mean, there were scenes with them obviously, but I’m selfish and wanted more. Their relationship has really grown since the last book. They are having more meaningful conversations about deeper and more personal topics. I wanted more of that. I wanted to see more of Peter and Lara Jean discussing their hardships with each other. But I will say, that their lack of being 100% honest with each other does come into play in the book. No spoilers here – so I’m just going to leave it there. What I like about Peter and Lara Jean is the fact that they seem like real teenagers. They aren’t overly mature for their age, but they aren’t immature either. They make poor choices without thinking, but then they are really thoughtful in their decisions in other ways. I felt Han portrayed typical 17/18-year-olds very well. Lara Jean still seems a little, not immature, but maybe childish, in the way she sometimes acts/thinks in the book. I’m not sure if it is Lara Jean the character, or just how Jenny Han writes – this is the only series of hers I’ve read. All in all, I’m really happy I read this series, and this final installment. I was very satisfied with the ending, and where Lara Jean’s path was headed to next!

*self-purchased. No need of sugar daddies called promo teams* What’s this book about? (I'm trying to give as little spoilers as possible) Things are about to change for Lara Jean. She’s in her senior year and big decisions await. After planning everything meticulously, she finds herself in a strange position of having to rethink all her plans. This is my third Jenny Han read. I loved book one. Book two was torture. I waited almost six months to finally pick this up. I watched the movie to the second book when it came out and I’ve been meaning to get to reading Always And Forever, Lara Jean, for some time now. The structure to this novel was the same as in the previous ones. I’ve grown to love Lara Jean, but I don’t want to read her stories unless I’m really desperate for some positivity and optimism in my life. There are very few hurdles here and perhaps, that’s exactly why this series is such a bundle of joy. It works for its audience. I can’t hate on Lara Jean because she’s adorable in lots of ways; she seems very proper in lots of others. Her chemistry with Peter was lovely. Their relationship made appearances in this novel, however, at times it felt like we were focusing a lot on Lara Jean’s family. Which, to be honest, since she was in her senior year and she was about to leave for college, was completely fine. I just would have personally liked more Peter appearances. Peter EVERYWHERE. Speaking of Peter, he had major developments here. We finally see him crack, in some ways. His family dynamics are explored and in typical Lara Jean fashion, she wanted to make it all okay. I understood Peter and the decisions he made concerning his family, sometimes wanting to rattle Lara Jean awake and tell her to lay off the poor boy for his choices LOL. Not everyone can have the picture-perfect family! Kitty was the CUTEST. I think she was the mastermind behind the entire orchestration of her family’s lives! Margot played a more crucial role in the story this time around. I understood what she felt and why she behaved the way she did. It’s difficult to leave your home and when you come back, find that everything’s changing. She was the most emancipated out of the siblings and it was truly fun to see how scandalous she seemed with her trivial relationship to her family. It seemed hilarious to me. I recommend this read to anyone who doesn’t mind getting sentimental over teenagers going through their senior years, Lara Jean stans and people who need some fluffy and cute reads in their lives.

I loved this series. I borrowed the first two books but I couldn’t get the third fast enough so I ended up buying it for myself. I was at first a little embarrassed because I considered myself to be too old to read teen fiction anymore but it is a book I think girls of all ages, even those Stormy age can enjoy (read the book and you’ll get it). It’s nostalgic for me and I would recommend this book to anyone but especially teenage girls because it’s comforting and teaches important lessons on what love should look like and it’s just full of inspiration and parts that made me giggle with delight at how romantic and sweet and corny they are.
