Expensive and flimsy, but saves the time and better than alternative.
I used this jam strainer for medlar jelly this year and it proved to be the great time saver. The size is right, so one can fit a 2 l bowl underneath -- this is more than enough, as you would not be able to fit more that 3kg of pulp in the bag. The design is better than the only alternative I could found -- Tala Jam straining kit, as with the piece of equipment I could never manage to balance it on the bowl securely. It is qut The construction is quite flimsy though -- I do not feel I have got value for money (luckily, I bought it as 'damaged box' in Warehouse Clearance section, so it is less grievance for me), but I do not think there is any real alternative on the market.

Usability
Little tricky to put together but sturdy once together. Worked well and successful made crystal clear red currant jelly. Delivery was a little slow, but worth the wait

When I took the stand out of the packaging I wondered how it was going to stand up and how long these fragile pieces of plastic might last. Initially I had a big problem putting it together. My husband has used some tape to bind them. The strainer bag is good and wraps over the top. I was making some quince jelly. Normally I make it in big batches but looking at the size of the bag I reduced the amount sigificantly. It did not collapse when I poured in the cooked fruit and the next morning I had a very useful saucepan of liquid . I have decided not to take the stand apart for fear that it might they may not last long. I need to find somewhere to store it which won't be easy. I would have paid more for a more substantial stand

Good Strainer and Stand
Does what it says it does. Great for leaving fruit in overnight. Easy to put together and easy to clean. Would recommend it.

Strainer bag is on the small/medium side
I was about to cook my elderberries when I realised that, since I have had my new handleless kitchen built, I no longer have any wall unit door handles from which to hang my strainer bags! This stand and bag were perfect for my needs and arrived the next day on Prime. It fits under my wall units fine, unlike some reviewers. The very front of my wall units with pelmet are 443mm from the worktop, the standard height for them to align with the top of tall units. The stand is 438mm high. But you can easily have the stand just partially underneath a cupboard, as it is triangle shaped, and still have plenty of room on standard worktop if you have a height problem. The strained bag holds enough for my needs and I found my 2pt measuring jug easily fitted underneath it when hanging though some people may prefer a bigger bag. The bag has an elastic top which fits the stand snuggly and stays in place when tucked under the 3 flaps for that purpose. I am sure you could easily adapt an existing strainer bag to fit it, or perhaps a bigger one, with either elastic or some string. If each leg were raised by resting each on an object, e.g. an upturned storage jar/tub, a bigger bag could be attached. The stand is a little flimsy when putting together but once together, even if it isn't fully snapped in, it holds itself together, especially once the strainer bag is fitted. The 3 legs can be stored laying one on top of each other and takes up hardly any room. However, I wasn't happy with each leg coming in it's own plastic bag - totally unnecessary. Overall, I am very happy with it and have bought a second one.

Not up to standard
This does the job but be careful as the stand is flimsy and IMO won’t last long. The stand is easy to assemble and the straining cloth fits well but it isn’t very big and won’t take a decent sized bowl underneath. The cloth is of good quality but the stand is thin plastic and not up to the Lakeland quality I had expected. Over all, disappointing.
