Broke, just like they should!
Our son was SO excited to receive these, and continually practices with them to further his martial arts journey. Thankful to have something like this so that he can level up without being worried about "real" boards. They come apart like they should, and go back together quite easily. I will say, they are LOUD though, but that can be expected.

Unbreakable
It's been 4 months and my Taekwondo blue belt eight year old daughter still can't break it. Maybe after puberty...

My son loved it
This was one of my son’s favorite Christmas presents. He didn’t ask for it but thought it would be cool. He broke it a million times on Christmas Day and was able to put it back together himself. He’s 9 for reference. Bought the yellow one so that they could break easily, he’s not in karate or anything. Fun thing to have around I think.

I purchased this kit for a 6 year old who has just started karate classes. He started with the yellow one and was able to practice his moves with his hands and feet. Very easy to reassemble.

Bought these a while back and only used them twice. I teach for a karate club and thought it would be a good tool to teach proper transfer of power and focus. Although it is very satisfying to get a board to break, and there is a definite increment in difficulty level as you go up the grades of board, they are incredibly fiddly to put back together. You can waste quite a lot of lesson time trying to reconstruct them. Whether it is the fault of the boards or the people hitting them is arguable, but some students have damaged their knuckles quite badly, ending up with severe swelling even as low down as the blue board. Maybe some focus pad gloves are in order for some people, but I can see that making breaking the higher boards a lot harder! The reason our club banned them? No fault of the board. Like any lesson involving equipment, or even without, accidents happen when there is a lack of control. Some kid held one right in front of their face when someone gave it a good punch with follow through, and ended up with considerably less teeth than he started out with! Not at a lesson of mine, I hasten to add. So, if they ever get used now it will be private use, away from a club lesson, with someone I can trust to hold them properly. They are good in a place and at a time, but for the amount of use I'm getting out of them I have to drop it to 4 stars I'm afraid.

not as good as it described, hard to reassemble, tried many times, not working, only used one time and now use it as my mouse pad.
