Child & Toddler Safety Walking Harness & Reins

Fits my 18 month Grandson perfectly, he's a bit of a chunk, but confident this will be in use for as long as we need it to be. A bit confused by reviews that state this item would not fit a one year old, perhaps these people did not look closely enough at this product to notice that both the shoulder/side straps adjust to fit the child. I believe the estimate that this product is for a child from 1yr to 3yrs is just spot on. This item seems sturdy, well made and like most grandparents would only use a product if they felt it was more than fit for purpose, safety being the major concern. The chest pad is quite small, but it will not hinder movement, and won't feel restrictive or like the breast plate of a suit of armour. Fab price for a quality product in my opinion.

I wanted a harness that felt robust and was comfortable for my toddler. She actually gets her harness herself to have on when we are going for a walk. I like the style of it and that it has a full piece across the chest. Its adjustable to size. My toddler is 17 months and it fits well. Not sure if it would fit a much older child as the shoulder straps are close together. Machine washable.

A lot of the reviews say the harness is too small. I have a decent sized 1 year old boy and the harness fits (with room) over a a winter puffa jacket. The quality is good and it does its intended job. The reason I haven’t given 5 stars is it is quite hard to adjust the size and it took me a while to figure out how to make it the correct size.

I bought this along with the matching rein for my "3 year old Autistic Son". When I first tried to put it on, I thought Uh Oh... this is nowhere near big enough. I nearly put it back in the box to send it back, then I realized it had more adjustment in it than I first thought. Anyway, it fits now with plenty of room and more to go if need be. And he's not a small 3 year old. It feels sturdy and works well with him trying to do a runner every 10 - 15 seconds. When he throws a temper tantrum and tried to chuck himself on the floor... it's strong enough to hold his weight up... although I'm a 6 foot 17 stone man with a fair bit of strength so might not work for some.... but the point is it's quite strong. Only used it about 10 times so far, so can't comment on it's longevity, but it doesn't look like it's going to fail anytime soon.

Really happy with this purchase! It is made with quality materials, the clips all feel strong and sturdy which is so important with safety! It’s fully adjustable and my little one loves wearing it. It came in especially handy when we were feeding the ducks as I could easily keep hold of him so he didn’t fall into the pond. It even has a little reflective patch on the front which is great for visability. Would definitely recommend

Despite being very sturdy and well made, unfortunately the design and fit was not what I expected. The children I bought it for (aged 19 months and 26 months) were left with marks on their neck. The bib part is very small with the width of the shoulder areas much too closely fitted for comfort.

I like these and my 3 year old twins love them. Safe, good fit for them.

All kids are different and although I didn’t use a child rein much on my first, having one for my second has been a life saver.. he likes to run off so having it means I can hold him close but also let him walk independently, it also allows me to hold close when walking in the woods to aid catching him if he trips, which he was still doing a few months ago although is now a lot better on his feet. I also use it when I use his scooter instead of the pushchair for my own peace of mine. It means I can have ahold in him while he sits independently on his push scooter and I haven’t got to worry about him getting off and running or anything else happening to him. Living in a city this harness had defiantly helped keep my anxiety to a minimum when out and about in busy areas, as he often wants to walk and follow his brother. I don’t think they work for all toddlers (as I found with my first) but having this and it being small enough to either put in a bag or wrap around me when not in use was worth the risk. One thing I didn’t mention was knowing I had hold of him when he was having a tantrum and my hands were full.. although I may have gotten funny looks.. I would rather know he is safe. When you have multiple kids I think these can come in extra handy.

Funktioniert wie es soll. Unsere Tochter lief mit einem knappen Jahr nicht gerne an der Hand, so war sie an der Straße trotzdem sicher. Für ältere Kinder aber eventuell zu klein.

The cord parte is so short that it doesn’t even allow the child to be more than an arms length from you. My wild 2 yr old was getting whiplashed and tossed to the floor, hitting his head often. The wristband spiral cord style worked better for my families needs.

My child is autistic and this is a life saver when we go into places that have lots of people or public transport! I feel secure and so does he. He got use to it fast too and its a comfortable harness. It clips in the back with heavy duty clips and he can't reach to remove. Would recommend to anyone! Got the product fast as well through the mail!
