Comes with everything you need for continual and accurate PH readings. Way better than the cheap options I took first (my mistake!). I recalibrate using the solution supplied around every 4-6 weeks. Great we unit and comes in a quality case to keep everything together and protected.

Not accurate. Along with some bad reviews I seen but over powered with good, I had doubts spending this money. The inconvenience in returning has thought me the value of buying valuable items from a shop. Will avoid amazon on expensive purchases in future. Freshly calibrated and spot on at 7. At 5.8 it's off by 0.2-0.3 reading 6-6.1. Expected from a cheap €10 meter not a 75 one.

I bought x2 ph pens,both useless so i upped the ante,this hit the spot,please dont buy the cheap ones

Had this pen for about 2 years before the batteries went. Replaced batties with the included spare set, turned the thing on and its lost the ability to read anything, same issue as reported by others. The PH value swings wildly from 0 to 14 and the temperatue reads 60. I have read that this means the temerature sensor in the pen has gone and so it cant read PH any more. As i said i had it for two years and yet i feel slightly mifffed cause its been carefully looked after and i paid a little more because i expected a little more quality. I find myself reluctant to replace this pen with an identicle model incase this happens again.

Used to determine the dissolved solids in a private (pay to fish) lake where fish are stocked. Knowing this helps in managing Monster Lake for big fish. Works well, stabilizes quickly, calibrates quickly, comes with a known ph solution so you can have confidence in the readings and calibrate when needed. Also the probe can be replaced later, also has wetting solution for the probe and a way to keep the probe moist in storage plus a carrying case for everything.

Ich bin etwas geschädigt von den Billig-pH-Metern aus China, weshalb ich notgedrungen zu diesem teureren Modell griff. Der Mehrpreis macht sich bemerkbar. Das ganze ist sehr ausgeklügelt. Z.B. ist das Meter so im Schaumstoff gelagert, daß die Aufbewahrungshülse so an das Gerät gedrückt wird, daß man mit einer minimalen Menge Aufbewahrungsflüssigkeit auskommt und durch den Dichtring läuft nichts raus. Die Messgenauigkeit ist hoch. Ich habe das Teil nicht einmal kalibriert, nachdem es nach Erhalt sofort bei einer Prüflösung den richtigen Wert angezeigt hat. Die Genauigkeit ist auch sehr gut, die +/- 0,1 kann ich jedenfalls bei meinen Pufferlösungen bestätigen. Darüber hinaus ist das "Einsteckvolumen" durch die Formgebung klein. Dann Reinigung ich verwende fließendes Wasser und habe zum Teil sehr hochviskose Flüssigkeiten, die gut anhaften, dauert nur Sekunden um es abzuspülen und obwohl es Leitungswasser ist, beeinträchtigt es das Gerät nicht. Ich bin zufrieden, wenn nicht gar begeistert. Die zweite Nachkommastelle hat man nicht, aber lieber ein Gerät mit nur einer das funktioniert, als ein Gerät was nicht funktioniert. Ich kann gar nicht genug betonen wie wichtig es ist, Vertrauen in sein Meßinstrument zu haben. Ein Gerät wie mein pH-Meter davor, das öfter mal falsch anzeigt, weil die Kalibrierung verloren gegangen ist, kann einen wahnsinnig machen, weil man keiner Messung mehr vertrauen kann. Bei diesem Gerät hier hat man nach ein paar Messungen viel Vertrauen aufgebaut, daß bis jetzt noch nie enttäuscht wurde.
