Trouser Suit Waterproof Dog Rain Coat Onesie Black (16 inch)

This 'raincoat' with legs is a great bit of kit. Does exactly what it's supposed to. Not only does it keep him dry and the mud off, it protects him from picking up burrs and grass seeds. He was a bit unsure at first (he just stood looking bewildered) but once he realised he could run about without hindrance, he was very happy. His harness fits over the top without the need to adjust the fit. He now realises that he's in for a fun walk when I put it on him. We had compliments about how he looked wearing it tooqawpm. Would recommend this item.

Nice light weight coat. Well made. Great for rain and snow. A bit fiddly to put on. Getting the correct size for your dog is critical. 16" is just too small for my dog but 18" is a bit too big. Ideally the suit would have some adjustment included in the design.

These come up quite big so order at least one size smaller. They are waterproof and ideal for dogs who like to roll in mud like mine do but because they lack a waist drawstring they let the water in that way… not good. Also the neck is very low and really needs a drawstring there as well for a better fit. The legs are a good length and come right down to the paws. Because these are not lined the rubbery type coating inside caught on my long-haired dog’s fur and matted it right up… so probably best for short haired dogs only. The zipper fastening is good and the jacket is easy to put on.

I measured my dog as shown. Received the coat which fitted well with all the seams lining up on my dogs body perfectly. Then it was walkies time, and she couldn't move properly in it. When she moved her front legs there's not enough give in it for her to walk, yet alone run. She can't wear it as her body is too restricted, and she must feel as though I've put a straight jacket on her. The company say no returns if it's been warn. What a waste of money.

16 inch fits my 8kg cockapoo in body but is a bit long in the leg so I need to make some alteration. Tried rolling the legs up but they fall down after a while of her bolting around. That said it is ideal for what I wanted it for - to keep my dog dry and clean (she likes a wet field and the beach !) She isn't bothered wearing it and runs around no problem (apart from when a leg unrolls but she is short in the leg) I have been asked where I got the suit from by a number of other dog owners as they think it is such a good idea and can see it is effective. The other good points for me is that it is easy to put on, discreet -not in your face as it you are dressing your dog up like a child- dog doesn't appear to over heat in it and is well made.

Purchased this (18in) for my cavalier KC spaniel who is very hairy and a total mud sponge! He is probably larger than average with quite long legs for the breed. But the 18in suit fits perfectly, it’s the only one I’ve found that is actually long enough to cover his legs fully which is essential for us as he has very furry legs! Most seem to be cropped at the knee which is useless for him. It is 100% waterproof & so easy to just wipe clean after a walk. I would highly recommended, it takes all the stress & hassle out of muddy, wet walks! I have already ordered another one in green!

I didhave to return the first as it was too big, so I might order a smaller size. However as the owner of a golden doodle who (that is the dog) has needed a shower every day for the last 2 weeks, this suit is an absolute game changer....just having to clean her feet. I'm wondering if they do wellingtons!
