Great but using it is about timing
So I have had tennis elbow for a year. Basically rested it for a year. Became active again after the pain died away and it flared back up again. All that 'self-limiting' condition rubbish turns out to be wrong, at least in my case. So, rather than rest it, waiting for the tendon to heal, what I needed to do was to strengthen my forearm muscles that I somehow damaged doing gardening and playing my fiddle too much.... So this is a great tool back to stronger forearms. But not alone and definitely not too soon. For me I have used gentle NHS exercises (freely available) for about two weeks. I have got myself a compression sleeve too and a warm pad. I also have one of the pressure straps too which pushes directly down on the muscle a little below the knobbly bit in the elbow where the pain is. My pre-work routine now is do my NHS exercises, use this bar doing the twist and release exercise until my forearms tire (but don't hurt) then put nurofen gel on my elbow and massage it in. Then I put the compression sleeve on for my working day. I have been doing Aikido with the pressure strap on and this feels good. I am gently returning to the fiddle for about 5 mins a day, again with the pressure strap. So far so good. No relapse. The elbow does seem to pain me occasionally but it is short-lived. I generally apply nurofen gel, massage it in, put the sleeve on and rest a day or so. My arms are feeling stronger and with that the pain seems to be receding. This is my experience but if you are plagued like me with this absolute 'pain in the proverbials' of an injury it's worth a go. So, in a nutshell...this is good but don't use it too much, too soon. In combination with other things though, it works a treat

30/03/2020. I have been suffering with tennis elbow now for 4 years. It has now got to a point where it is impossible for me to do barbell curls or pull-ups. It is a constant draining pain to always live with and when I am sleeping at night I will wake up from the dull aching pain. Fed up of this situation I tried various methods to cure this problem but without success. I have used BPC-157 injections which cost me nearly £200 but it did nothing. I used elbow sleeves, used eltro pad shocks, massages, medication, stretching and laying off the exercise for months. The only thing so far that seems to have helped me is the deep massages I do myself on my tendons. I am now testing this Thera-Band out and I will come back for an update. My first impression though is that the blue one is too hard for me and I wish I bought the medium one. 02/04/20 - This is an update to let people suffering from tennis elbow and golfers elbow that this product has reduced my pain by 80 percent which for me is absolutely incredible. I have only been using if for a few days and at first it seemed too difficult to turn but now my muscles have adapted. I am going to continue with it and see how my elbows feel after a couple of weeks of use. There is no doubt that this has helped my pain more than anything and really I am quite in shock. Let me be clear though I am still in pain but not like how it was. I still cannot do pull-up or barbell curl but at least now I can rotate my arm without extreme pain like before. 17/04/2020 I have been using it everyday maybe 4 or 5 times throughout the day and doing around 50 repetitions. My conclusion is that the Thera-Band has definitely relieved my pain more than anything else but it did not rid the pain completely. I still cannot do a pull-up nor can I do a bicep curl anymore. I may have a more serious injury that I will check out with an X-Ray however the pain was greatly reduced and for that I think anyone suffering you invest in this just to relieve the pain and it may even rid the pain completely for you if you do not have a major injury like me Update: 20th April 2021. My elbow is 90 percent better. I believe the Theraband had a very big part to play in the strengthening of the tendons in my forearm. I still use the Theraband throughout the week. The pain I had for many years was unbearable at times. Oh and I can now do pull ups and bicep curls with only a slight pain. Before it was impossible to do due to the pain.

I have only just received this so can only review with an initial impression which is overall positive. I work as a builders apprentice and have suffered from lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) for several months. The condition prevents me from using a hammer and is also very painful with any movement involving loaded extension of my wrist/elbow and this is very obviously detrimental to my career. I have used stretching exercises, ice, massage all to no improvement. The nature of my work means any reduction in inflammation in muscle/tendon in my forearm is quickly undone by repetitive and heavy movement. I need a treatment that will strengthen as well as stretch the affected tissue and i believe the Flexbar is the best option. The band works by stretching the affected muscles and connective tissue under load. Having used the flexbar for the first time i was aware that i could not even straighten my arm due to pain throughout the exercise. Now into four days using it for 5 reps at a time i can straighten my arm though it is still painful, there is definitely no doubt it engages the appropriate muscles! I am not expecting a complete recovery from tennis elbow but want to get to a stage where i can work without having to protect my arm. I don't mind some pain but if you are reading this you may appreciate the way the condition will cause your arm to become immobile which is very frustrating. So far the flexbar has given me confidence that i may make a recovery to the point i can have mobility and strength in my elbow.

Very good product. I am using it for my clients and they have really benifited in just 3 weeks. Noticible change in strength and grip. Ppl looking to do first pulluo must master dis equipment it vl really help u.
