Been using the Curl Maker for 2 years. It is one of my personal favorites and my curls loves it. The soft hold gel is indeed soft. Does not leave your hair stiff nor hard to touch. Curls will be soft for days. However, be mindful not to use too much. Can make your curls a bit sticky. I have hair type 4b and 4c curls. I use this at least 3 times a week. The moisture, the softness, and working on your curls actually does work. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for softness and define curls.

I really love this gel, the smell, the amount of product that your get etc. I love Camille rose I use majority of her products. The only tripe I have is that the flakes, no matter what I do, I have tried it in clean hair, clean shampooed hair in the shower. I let it set, no flakes a few days later flakes, tried it with no products just the gel. Still flakes lol. My hair is soft, defined, and smells great and maybe I’m using too much of the gel, if so I’ll dial it back some but, that’s my only issue. lol I’m still going to use it because I hate wasting products. ❤️❤️❤️. I love Camille Rose products. The products mostly use natural ingredients like herbs and natural oils. I have definitely noticed an improvement in the quality of my hair since I've been using these products. I love this curl maker because it helps the curls form and maintains the bounce. The product is thick and does a great job moisturizing the hair. It smells good, also. It does leave some residue, but it can easily be treated with water. It is a very effective product for forming curls.

Why I bought it: I wanted a curl gel that defines my natural curls without leaving them stiff, frizzy or crunchy. Works great on my 1 year old hair. It leaves his hair curly and moist. The moist stays all day long. I love this product

Respectfully, the price is not worth a product. I think that may be if it was 10 or $12 I could justify it but it’s not worth it. That’s ridiculous for something that’s not gonna last very long.

This product finally tames my curly hair, even when visiting humid climates. You put it in when your hair is really wet (in the shower) and then scrunch it. Once it's in, leave it alone until the hair is dry (diffuse your hair if necessary). DON'T touch your hair! When hair is fully dry, you 'break the cast' aka scrunch it again with dry hands. The curl comes out soft and touchable, not sticky.

I didn’t know my hair could naturally curl better after using this, at first I just used a little on damp hair and I thought it looked good. The second time I tried, I ensured my hair was more wet/ straight out the shower, and worked in smaller sections and paired with a leave in. There was a little cast but I don’t care, even my mom with curly hair asked how I did it. There was less frizz! I didn’t know my hair could be less frizzy! Psa we have south east Asia curly hair, 3c/ sometimes 4a in some areas, very prone to dryness.

I’ve ordered a Camille rose curl maker in march and with that curl maker I had no issues it worked perfectly but then I decided to buy a new one because I was running low and today I tried it and it made my hair unhydrated it looked bad it doesn’t even look good when I put it on and brushed it in it made my hair straight and my hair never does that I want a refund because this is not what ordered the Camille rose is really yellowish and it smells so sugaryish and my old one wasn’t so yellow and it smelled minty and refreshing but the one I just ordered smells so disgusting I really want a refund who ever sold me this and I bought it for 22 euros
