Quick. Easy. Cheap. No more sliding down my driveway.
These cleats really made a difference after a storm dropped 8 inches of "snowcrete" in our area. That's an inch or two of powder, topped with 6" of sleet pellets, and coated with a lovely 1/4" freezing rain glaze. It was truly frictionless. And *strong* enough to hold a 350 pound neighbor without even creaking. It laughed at plastic snow shovels and salt, which unfortunately were the only tools *not* frozen into my very unreachable shed. I spent about nine hours over 3 days freeing myself, my driveway and my car using a metal-tipped cane to crack the surface and then poke through and lever this stuff apart enough to create what passed for a "path." The first two days, I had only a serious pair of work boots, the cane and a metal pole. I fell repeatedly. I slid down my driveway. I slid down my front lawn. I slid getting my car door open. On Day 3, my cleats arrived. (cue heavenly chorus and beams of golden light). -They're basically adjustable elastic straps holding a flexible plastic bar embedded with tungsten studs. (Similar to some snow tires.). - You slip them over the toe of your boot and tuck them back where the arch joins the heel. No need to buckle or snap anything. You *can* adjust the fit so they don't work their way loose. - Heading into the house or the car? Just reach down and flip the bar over so the studs face in toward your boot. - They work. Very well. Do they work as well as mountaineering crampons? Probably not. But - as my neighborhood has been glacier-free with no deep crevasses reported - they'll do just fine for my purposes. And they cost very little. So: Inexpensive. Easy to put on, take off, and switch easily from outdoor to indoor use. Durability? Too soon to say, but neither the straps, the bar, or the studs show any serious wear. A bargain from where I stand - solidly, without slipping.

Simple to use and very effective in thick ice.
These saved my neck in this year's ice storm. I was still able to walk into the barn and drive my UTV to tend to animals so the arch design served my purposes better than a product that would cover my entire foot. With the shape of my boots, I did end up tying a piece of twine to each side looping around the back of my heal to keep the cleats in place.

Good grip, but takes some getting used to
These ice cleats do a good job providing extra traction on icy and snowy surfaces. I felt noticeably more stable walking outside, especially on sidewalks and driveways. They’re fairly easy to put on and seem to stay in place once secured. That said, they can feel a bit awkward at first, especially on harder surfaces like concrete, and the fit might not be perfect for every type of shoe. Also, I wouldn’t recommend wearing them indoors as they can be slippery or uncomfortable. Overall, a solid option for winter use, but not perfect. Worth having for safety in icy conditions.

Hard to keep on
I'd give it 5 stars if they would just STAY ON!! I lost 1 in a 2ft snow drift and 1 while I was pushing the snow thrower! I wish you could adjust them somehow but it seems like I'll need to tie them into the boot laces to keep from losing them. Other than that, when they were on my shoes, they worked great to keep me from falling.

Useless product, total waste
Absolute waste of a product. These don't stay on your shoes at all. I tried multiple ways to attach them to my boots so they would stay but they just keep slipping off. They need to have a toe/heel strap. I lost the first one in a snowbank while crossing the road so I lost it. Total waste of money. That's what I get for cheaping out, I guess. I should've spent more and gotten something of better quality, these don't even have a way to keep them on your boots so no way they're going to help at all with traction. Since one got lost in a snowbank I can't even return them and get my $ back. Overall entirely disappointing, literally choose anything else-something with a proper heel strap or something to keep them connected. Terrible value and very unsafe since they just slip right off and even trying to put them through your boot laces doesn't work.
