How long do the plants stay alive?

Roughly 2-4 weeks. They are pretty hardy, and there are plenty of seeds to grow a forest multiple times. My nephew and I had a lot of fun with this item! They grow fast and big, so he was able to see the results, which kept him interested in it. I just recall after a few weeks I got busy and forgot about it and they wilted and got kind of mushy (I assume from the condensation), had I kept up with them, they may have lived longer.

If I remember correct it was multi-colored. pink yellow, blue. It was a fun project.

Would this fit in a stocking as a stocking stuffer gift?

The packaging is most likely too large for a standard size stocking. The dimensions are 7” H x 4.75” W x 4” L. The components would certainly fit or the project can of course be wrapped for under the tree.
