Great motor
I installed this motor in my downstairs air handler in August 2023 to replace the original 19 year old, obsolete, OEM motor. Almost 2 years later and it still runs great. The supplied capacitor did fail yesterday after almost 2 years, but that is not uncommon with any capacitor. I replaced the capacitor and all is running great again . I am an HVAC professional and would not hesitate to use this motor for a customer

Works very well, good replacement.
Came well packaged and shipped fast. This replaced a goodman motor that started to degrade and stop blowing air from our vents. The wiring diagram is different from the original goodman motor but easy to understand and resolve. I needed to purchase a three-prong flex mount with this since the old goodman motor has the mount welded on. Overall, install was simple and worked very well on high settings.

Worked fine as blower motor replacement in HVAC.
I replaced my blower motor with this. It worked fine. It's a little louder than the old one. I knocked off a star because of the wiring and the increase in noise. It has very, very different wiring than my old blower motor, and it took me quite a while of studying various wiring diagrams to figure it out. The instructions were not helpful in this regard, I had to go online and do research. Even then, I wasn't totally certain it would work until I actually turned the thing on and it worked. The instructions could use improvement on the wiring front. It was quite a bit of work to install, but that would have been true regardless. It's a fine blower motor and will work fine in any system, just be prepared to figure out the wiring and how it should connect to your system.

Good Replacement Blower Motor
Worked great to replace OEM Intertherm mobile home HVAC blower. If you are handy with wiring and following simple wiring diagrams, this should be a breeze to swap for you. Motor turns true and is silent. I also replaced the capacitor, which I recommend you also order.

Noisy but functional
The fan seems to work ok, but the wires are smaller gauge than previous motors had. That itself wouldn’t be an immediate problem, but it also squeaks a little and has a slight vibration. Those issues make the noise level higher than desired.

HVAC Motor
This unit is not plug and play, you will need a capacitor in order for this motor to run. May not be a beginners task to install. Works very well once capacitor is joined with it . Good value for the money but order a compatible capacitor to go along with the motor. The motor has designated wire to plug into the capacitor the other wire may not be exactly as you unit, but study the diagram and determine which wire goes to the proper leg and you will be ok.

Burning smell
I was concerned when I seen the wire size on the new motor. I double checked the specs and it shows to be a 208-230V 1/3hp 1075 2.7A just like mine. My original motor has a 8-10G wire which is common for 230V. This new motor has what looks like maybe 14G like you would find on 110V motors. I decided to give it a try anyway assuming they wouldn’t do anything that would cause a fire. Well about 10 seconds after running the house filled with a plastic burning smell. We doable checked our wiring and wiring diagrams. Everything is correct so we pulled it back out and returning it.
