It works when you wrap around where you use it, it will not come off. Otherwise, it will.

What's the difference between athletic tape and kinesiology tape?

Athletic tape is often used to limit unwanted movement at a joint, which helps athletes recover from ligament sprains and helps prevent further injury. On the other hand, kinesiology tape is more flexible and elastic. When applied to the skin, it bunches the top layer of skin and lifts it away from the muscle, creating a small gap between skin and muscle. This allows for smooth muscle movement, increased blood flow, and lymphatic drainage, which helps decrease pain.

Can I apply this directly to my skin or do i need prewrap?

I'm an athletic training student so this was a great deal for me to get during the summer for practice and to tape my high school track team. Especially for the price, this is really good tape. It tears pretty easily and has a good, soft, cloth-like feel. The only draw back is that its not the stickiest and because of that the roll tension isn't as firm as I would prefer. Otherwise, great choice in tape!
