I bought this for an almond allergy challenge. I have had to stay away from all tree nuts and peanuts my whole life but now at 30 years old I’m finally able to eat a few different nuts!! Still incredibly allergic to peanuts but my allergy for certain tree nuts are decreasing so I took a leap and tried almonds (safely in a hospital setting) and I can actually eat them and they are surprisingly delicious!! I love being able to eat a “PB&J” now with this almond butter. Big almond/almond butter fan over here now!

This almond butter is so smooth and spreadable that I checked the jar three times before I ate it to make sure I didn't accidentally buy peanut butter! Very tasty too. I give it 4 stars rather than 5 only because it is rather sweeter than I like my nut butter to be. I've been eating natural nut butters for so long now that I am accustomed to them being unsweetened, and I think I prefer that. Next time I may try the Barney Butter "Bare", but I also prefer my almond butter to be made from roasted rather than blanched and I like a bit of salt added, so I'm not sure that one will end up being favorite either. Still, this one has the best texture of any of tried, and there's no need to stir or refrigerate so that makes it more convenient as well.

I cannot eat anything peanut now but this works for me. I prefer the smooth almond butter vs the crunchy and this spread smoothly. Although it suggests refrigeration, I don't for it spreads better for me at room temperature. I like the taste so much I purchased a 2nd jar. It is a little pricey but hey, with what's going on in this pandemic with supply issues, I'm grateful to get my hands on a jar or two!

My doctor told me to switch out my peanut butter for almond butter after my last physical. It has less saturated fat, 1.5 g in 2 TB versus 3.5 g in peanut butter. I was nervous about this since I love peanut butter. I figured I would try this small Barney’s almond butter from Amazon since it had good reviews. And I wasn’t disappointed. It arrived yesterday and I immediately had a taste. Really really good! My only complaint is that I did have to stir it since there was a layer of oily almond butter on top and drying underneath. Plus, it is supposed to be refrigerated, so I feared it would be harder to spread. But that isn’t the case. I tried it again this morning and it was still wonderful. I will be getting this in Subscribe & Save regularly!

This is the first AB i have tried and it taste very good! Smooth texture, mild flavor with a nice almondy finish. Nothing to compare it to but will purchase again :)

This Almond Butter is ok but did not win me over. To me is seems a bit bland. There are others that I like much better.

Delicious! More protein then peanut butter. Highly recommend!

The product itself tasted great and as there is no cross contamination from other tree nuts or peanuts, it was perfect for the purpose it was purchased for. My son had a hospital guided almond challenge to see if he was still allergic or if he could start to incorporate almonds into his diet. Due to his allergy to other tree nuts and peanuts we had to get something that was guaranteed to be free from cross contamination. This was the only product I found which fulfilled this requirement. Thankfully my son passed his challenge. This product however was expensive at £18:95 for a small jar, but was a necessary purchase. It also arrived almost a week late from the expected delivery date, which might have been a problem if I needed it for his challenge in hospital by prearranged appointment and not a challenge at home as this was. Overall I would recommend for a food challenge, but order well in advance of an appointment.
