Works perfectly fine. Comes in a nice pouch as well as 2 AAA batteries. Reading are consistent at different times when I checked. Just a tip, always make sure that the full wave pattern (as shown in the pictures) is forming when taking a reading. Otherwise the reading may be wrong.
